Meet the Candidates Night at Knoxie's in Pompey
Approximately 80 people were in attendance including the Chairpersons for 10 of the County’s Town Republican Committees: Dave Knapp (who served as Emcee) from Lafayette, Sonny Battle from Tully, Bob DeMore from Fabius, Carole Marsh from Pompey, Jeff Ireland from Spafford, George Cook from Otisco, Ed Theobald from Manlius, Dan Ross from Marcellus, Kris Rounds, Syracuse City Chair and Dennis Pelmear from Elbridge. Town Republican Committee members are also members of the County Republican Committee.
Each candidate was introduced, gave a short presentation to all present and took questions from, the floor. The tavern setting was informal. Candidates for Congress, Senate, Assembly, Judicial and County Sheriff were present to meet and talk to Committee members.
